Term 1 2025
Grade 2 is a year full of fun and exciting learning with students developing their independence and organisation. We aim to foster feelings of confidence and encourage students to challenge themselves and take risks with their learning.
The Grade 2 Literacy Program covers Reading & Viewing, Writing, Spelling and Speaking & Listening. Students are exposed to a wide range of text types through both reading and writing. Some of these include narratives, information reports and recounts.
Students develop their mathematical knowledge by participating in a range of open-ended tasks and numerically based games. This is supported by regular use of the Mangahigh online mathematics program which is also accessible at home for further learning.
