ENROLMENTS

Regency Park Primary offers all children moving into our school a comprehensive and supportive transition program. Naturally our incoming Preps receive special consideration. We provide numerous opportunities to visit our school within a warm, accepting and encouraging environment. Our dedicated teaching staff ensure a happy successful transition into school life, with the children developing confidence and early friendships.

We believe this will provide a good idea of what programs our school offers, the wonderful qualities of our community members, our school results and the facilities we have available to us.

Should you know of people who are already part of our school community; friends, family members, neighbours, please ask them for feedback as to their thoughts and impressions of our school. Asking a ‘third party’ is always a great way of gaining a fair and accurate description of our values, communication practices and performance.

“Word of mouth” can also share some of the intangible traits we pride ourselves on - things like ‘sense of community’, collaboration and partnership. We also urge that all parents with siblings who will be starting school next year to return their enrolment form to the school email address as soon as possible.
Please contact the office if you would like an enrolment form.

Please visit the Education Department website in regard to the enrolment process if you are applying to our school and we are not your local school.

We are aiming to have 4 Prep classes in 2025. Preference is given to those students for whom Regency Park PS is the closest government school to their permanent residential address. Confirmation regarding acceptance of enrolment may take some time and we thank you for your patience.

Our comprehensive transition program begins in term 4 and continues at regular intervals throughout term 4. Our final morning is a Prep barbecue for all parents and children to come together as the new 2025 cohort. At this time you will find out your teacher for 2025 and your child’s classmates.

Please contact the office if you have specific family circumstances you would like to discuss prior to enrolment.
Kind Regards
Carolyn Drinkwater

Enrolment Processes:

School tours are currently running - bookings are essential and can be made by contacting the office on 9801 3614. It is preferable to bring your child, so they too are part of the experience.

After the tour an enrolment form will be emailed to you. If you decide to enrol at our school please email the form back to the office. A hard copy of the form can also be provided at the time of the tour if you would prefer this method.

Once your enrolment is accepted, you will need to provide the child’s birth certificate, immunisation certificate and passport if the child is born overseas. We can photocopy these documents for you at the time of your enrolment.

Ready for Regency!

What exciting times lie ahead! At Regency Park PS we provide a comprehensive transition program for our ‘new’ Preps. When it comes time for their first ‘real’ school day they are truly ‘Ready for Regency’.

Before School & After School Child Care Program

Before and after school care is available for Regency Park Primary School students through the provider TheirCare. The program operates from St Luke’s Primary School which is located next door to our school at 25 Stokes Road, Wantirna. Parents can drop their children off at St Lukes in the morning and then TheirCare staff will walk the children over to our school through a shared fence before school begins. After school, TheirCare staff will pick up our children and take them to the after school facility. TheirCare also offer holiday care programs.
